The prayer is called Asher Yatzar, and here's what it says: Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, Who fashioned man with wisdom, and created within him many openings and many cavities. It is obvious and known before Your throne of glory, that if but one of them were to be ruptured, or but one of them were to be blocked, it would be impossible to survive and to stand before You. Blessed are You, God, Who heals all flesh and acts wondrously. #Jewish #Torah #JewishWisdom | aish.com

That moment you finally have the Asher Yatzar memorized 😭🙌 Learning this blessing has been such a challenge but so rewarding! It turns something as simple as washing hands into a moment of stillness and gratitude. Every time I say it, I feel a little more connected 💙 💬 Tell me — what small ritual brings you a sense of peace or mindfulness? In Judaism, we recite Asher Yatzar after using the bathroom to acknowledge something most people take for granted: that the human body functions properly. The blessing recognizes that the body is made with openings and hollow organs, and that if even one were to be blocked or rupture, it could be life-threatening. This is not poetic language, it’s literal. The ability to eliminate waste is essential for survival. When it doesn’t work, the consequences can be severe. Asher Yatzar trains us to not

Asher Yatzar (אשר יצר) is a Jewish blessing recited after using the bathroom, thanking God for creating the human body with wisdom and balance. It acknowledges that the body’s openings and systems must function properly for a person to live, and recognizes how fragile that balance is. The bracha expresses gratitude for health and for the daily miracles that allow the body to work normally. #jewish

Life is crazy, right? Did you know there's actually a blessing in Judaism—called Asher Yatzar—said after using the bathroom?🚽🙏 It's a beautiful reminder to be grateful for the tiny miracles our bodies perform every single day! Seriously, when you think about how complex and delicate our systems are, it makes you realize how much we take for granted. If even one little "opening" was clogged, we'd be in huge trouble. 🤯 The lesson here is simple: Gratitude isn't just for the big lottery wins! It
