A third-prize ticket was sold in Syracuse for Saturday’s Powerball drawing. A ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Rocky’s News, located at 447 N. Salina St. in Syracuse. Another $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at Gala Foods Supermarket in Freeport on Long Island.

No one claimed the jackpot for either Mega Millions or Powerball last week, leading both to swell to nearly $800 million combined.
