Can DTC codes be read for SRS trouble shooting?
I have an SRS air bag light that stays ON all the time. Is there a way to jump the Data Link Connector (like when wanting to blink the IMA light) so I can get the DTC codes for the SRS air bag light? I have had the IMA light ON before and know how to jump the Data Link Connector to make the IMA flash to read the codes.

Thus, you'll need to disable the SRS computer itself by either unplugging the airbag, the computer, or the seat power coiler. Note the SRS system can't do anything to any other system in the car, except turn the SRS light on. NiMH is dead, long live lithium! PSA: Replace the capacitors inside your DCDC.

On some models, the SRS wires are in a separate harness. If the SRS harness is damaged, replace the harness; do not repair it. On other models, wire harnesses include yellow SRS wires. If any SRS wire is damaged, replace the entire harness; do not repair it. Before you begin, inspect the wire you are about to repair for damage and length.

The SRS indicator light comes on for about six second and goes off. Remove the SCS service connector from the MES connector within 4 seconds after the SRS indicator light went off.

My SRS light came on and the local Honda dealership say the unit needs replacing. They need to hire a tool from Honda to enable them to do this although it is a simple job at only 20 minutes. Cost of Module Kit - £748.51 + VAT and fitting. Total cost £926.99. !! Just wondered if there might be a loose connection that could trigger the SRS light.

I would just buy an airbag module on ebay before resetting, but notice the reset sites say: Scanners read "crash data stored". Would Creator C310 display that? I do know my car was in an accident from the previous owner and the SRS light was on when I bought it. Doesn't say crash data...

The SRS and other sub system codes don't show with the fuse box short. When I traced out that OBDII plug short mentioned , one pin to ground , one pin to EPS power steering ?
