When the tablet is connected to the laptop via USB cord, go to "Start" and in the search type "Computer" (without the quotes of course) and from the list choose "Computer" only. In the window that pops up you should see your laptops drive, any partitioned part of the drive, and the tablet should be listed.

Unable to connect to computer from Tablet but OK the other way
Why can't Tablet connect to Computer #4 but OK the other way ? BTW Computer #4 and the tablet are recently upgraded to WIN10 , the other computers still on Win7 but I dont think this matters.

I have an android tablet that shows my wifi signal strength is strong, but when I try to connect to the internet, Facebook, etc., it says to check my internet connection. My computers are connected, they work, but the tablet still says to check while at the same time showing a strong signal?

The kernel needs to be working if you want to connect your device to the computer. Why can't it be turned on ? When I Plug In My Gaomon Drawing Tablet, it Connects, then Disconnects
I have a Gaomon drawing tablet that must connect to one of the USB ports to function. It won't even turn on if it isn't connected properly. But for some reason, my computer with recognize it for a second, and then disappear, making it impossible to use. I've tried every tutorial I have found to try and fix this, but none have worked.

Connect the device to the computer, enable that, then you should be good. Another, kind of sneaky way, to try and get it to work is to let the tablet battery drain all the way. Then plug the device into the computer to charge. Sometimes this jump starts the recognition and the system will try and install everything it needs.
